About Us

Mission

The eLearning Lab is a personalized microlearning platform full of easily accessible eLearning resources and lesson ideas that are grounded in solid instructional pedagogy. The eLearning Lab is funded by the Indianapolis e-Learning Fund, and is meant to provide educators and families with the support they need to transition to eLearning. This support includes access to eLearning experts via live chat, weekly eLearning webinars, and an open community forum to collaborate with others across the state of Indiana on eLearning.

Five Star Technology Solutions

Five Star Technology Solutions is an Indiana-based company comprised of teachers, administrators, and technical directors from Indiana school districts. A nationwide Google PD partner, Five Star has been working with school districts for the past eight years to design effective eLearning experiences. Five Star was chosen as a partner by the IDOE Office of eLearning from 2015-2016 to create and/or coordinate statewide eLearning workshops including the eLearning Admin Academies, online courses, and the eLearning Leadership Cadre. Five Star currently works with over 130 public school districts, charter schools, and private schools in Indiana in some capacity.

SETDA

The State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA) is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit membership association launched by state education agency leaders in 2001 to serve, support and represent their emerging interests and needs with respect to the use of technology for teaching, learning, and school operations. Nearly 20 years later, SETDA has established itself as the principal membership association representing digital learning leaders of U.S. states and territories.

The Mind Trust

The Mind Trust (TMT) is an Indianapolis-based education non-profit that works to ensure all Indianapolis students have access to a high quality school. Since 2006, The Mind Trust has been on a journey to transform Indianapolis’ education landscape into a place ripe with opportunities for every student. This work already has impacted thousands of Indianapolis students and has made Indianapolis one of the best-positioned cities in the country to achieve lasting, systemic change that creates better opportunities for all K-12 students. TMT was an initial funder of the Indianapolis e-Learning Fund, and was asked by the other partners to coordinate the development of the Indiana eLearning Lab.
